Each of our pieces have a quality rating. This rating allows you to pick the absolute best image for the best medium. Our we rate our ability in on a 1-10 scale, it helps us judge our own work and maintain to strive to a high level of excellence. Again We hope that you'll take a moment to read down our rating system and see what makes a photo fit in a certain catagory.
| Quality 10 of 10 means that it is the highest level of work that we currently offer. The piece has a great deal of effort and post work through photoshop. These are our top quality, and we take pride in our 10 of 10’s. Most of these have facet retouching that creates a more balanced look when viewing the piece. 10 of 10's many times are completely in focus from the front to back, though this isn't guranteed, it is likely. It also means that the image should look good across all mediums (magazine, newsprint, and web) . |
| Quality 8-9 of 10 means that it is very high level of work. The piece has a great deal of effort and post work through photoshop as well. A few issues keep these from being 10's. These images may only have selected focal areas, possibly inclusions in stones or even reflections in the product itself. Again these are very good jewelry stock photos and we believe that they will run well in all three mediums. |
| Quality 5-7 of 10 means that it is relatively high level of work. All of these look great in newspaper and web, and even catalog, but blowing them up for magazine use is for your discretion. Issues besides those in 8-9 rating may be imperfect jewelry, such a slight ding, or where a manufactuer didn't polish evenly. It is also possible that the stones aren't of the highest quality and also don't reflect light as well in certain areas. Again these are very good jewelry stock photos and we believe that they will run well in all three mediums. |

| Quality 4 and below means that work is of good quality. Pieces that are in this catagory either are too small for magazine, or possibly the diamonds have issues that were so time consuming that we simply shot it just to have it on stock. In this, we would suggest keeping images to newspaper and web, because issues in clarity will be could be noticable in magazine print (but not in newspaper or web). These images are here just in case you need the piece. In time we plan to work out the 4 and belows from our stock photos. |
